A text of any length that can be assigned to a value assignment or an object type in Industrial Hygiene and Safety.

In addition to user-defined texts, documents from the Document Management System (DMS) can also be assigned in the appropriate dialog box. The user-defined text type controls whether a user-defined text or a DMS document is assigned.
