A key that determines the origin, content and other features of service, maintenance and quality notifications.

The following notification types exist in the standard system:

• Maintenance notifications, including malfunction and activtiy reports and maintenance requests
• Service notifications, including problem notifications, service requestsand activity reports
• Quality notifications, including complaints against the vendor, customer complaints and internal problems
