Logistics - General (LO)

A size, with which units of measure are grouped.

There are seven base dimensions, to which all other dimensions can be traced: Length, weight, time, electrical current, temperature, molecular mass and brightness.

Examples:

• Length such as meter, centimeter and inch
• Time such as second, minute and hour
• Temperature such as Degree Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin

Measurement units of the same dimension can be converted such as 1 meter to 100 centimeters.
