- Under Dunning, you can specify dunning parameters for the borrower. Depending on your Customizing settings, there are up to five sections:
- The Manual dunning level field can be used when you select the dunning run and for evaluations in drilldown reporting.
- Via the field Dunning per (loan contract / finance project / main borrower) you control how open items are grouped (summarization level for dunning letters).
- If you select the Post contract charges field, the dunning charges and interest from the dunning run are posted to this contract.
- If you select the No dunning field, the loan is excluded from the dunning run.
- The Dunning history box displays the dunning run history per dunning area and dunning date. In a dunning area, you group dunning letters according to certain criteria. This lets you assign different dunning procedures to them.
For example, you can group dunning letters according to:
- Clerks
- Customers
- Mortgage loans
- Borrower’s notes
In the Last dunned column, you see when the last dunning letter was created. In Customizing you can define whether or not the dunning history can be changed by the user.
The dunning section is only active if you have flagged the Dunning active field in the Loans Customizing step Company Code-Dependent Settings for Product Type.
- You can specify how often an External account statement should be generated and enter a processing type for the Interest certificate.
