Status of Distribution Orders and Distribution Packets

Use

The status shows how far distribution has progressed.

The ALE distribution unit provides a function with which the target systems inform the source system of the status of distribution. In the replication workbench, this information is displayed in summarized form.

Features

The current status of distribution orders and distribution packages is displayed in two places in the replication workbench:

In the top left-hand screen area (product structure browser)
In the detail area, when you display a distribution order or distribution packet

Status of Distribution Packets

In distribution packets, a status is not shown until the distribution order has been started.

Icon	Description
	Distribution is running
	Distribution ended with errors
	Distribution rejected by the target system
	Distribution ended successfully

Status of Distribution Orders

In distribution orders, a status is shown as soon as it has been created.

Icon	Description
	Distribution order created
	Warning time exceeded

Once you have started a distribution order, the statuses of the individual distribution packets are summarized:

	Distribution is running
	Distribution of one or more distribution packets ended with errors
	Distribution rejected by one or more target systems
	Distribution of all packets ended successfully
