Data Segment Configuration

Use

The set of data segments that are provided with DART defines which data can be extracted with DART.

The Configure data segments screen allows you to change attributes of the SAP-provided segments, such as their indexes.

If you need to expand the data that can be extracted with DART, you may need to add fields to the existing segments, or you may need to add new segments.

Adding new segments to DART involves creating and activating customer enhancements (see the customer enhancements topic.)

As part of the process of adding segments to DART, you add a new segment definition through the Configure data segments screen.
