Family/Related Person infotype (0021)
Definition
You use Family/Related Person infotype 0021 to enter and store data concerning the employee’s family members and other related persons.
Use
The system uses the data in this infotype to run payroll and to create various evaluations for taxation and social insurance.
Structure
During the Hiring personnel action, the system automatically supplies Personal Data infotype 0002 for maintenance. If you enter and save "Marr." in the Mar. status field or at least one child in No. children field, the system automatically goes to Family/Related Person infotype 0021.
If you specified a child (or children) in Personal Data infotype 0002, the system gives you the screen for maintenance of the child’s (children’s) data first. Afterwards, you receive the screen in which you maintain the data for the employee’s spouse. Using the screen modification, you can rearrange your screen’s display to suit your requirements.
In both cases, the system automatically supplies the employee’s last name, sex, nationality, and organizational assignment. If required, you can change this data.
In the Family member field, you specify the family relationship between the employee and the family member/related person.
During the maintenance of the data on children, the system automatically counts the child number. This ensures that the system can distinguish between data records with the same start date.
In the Child Data group box, maintain the following fields (along with others):
The system uses these entries to calculate the family and household allowances. Therefore, you must provide entries for the three fields listed above.
To override the calculated child allowance or the reduction depending on attendance hours, you use the two fields in the Family-Related Bonus Payment group box.
