Procedure

  1. Choose Human resources ® Personnel management ® Administration ® HR master data ® Maintain.
  2. Enter the employee’s personnel number.
  3. Specify Work Tax Area infotype (Infotype 0208) in the Infotype field.
  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  5. Enter the employee’s work tax area in the Tax area field.
  6. In the Allocation percent field, enter the percent of total work for the validity period of the record that the employee will perform in this tax area.

    7. The relevant tax authority and level are displayed.

  7. Save your entries.
  8. Repeat steps 3 through 7 for each of the tax areas in which the employee will be subject to tax during the period.

Result

The employee’s work tax area details are recorded.
