Adding a Devspace
Use
You define additional data or log devspaces to extend the disk space for the database instance.
Prerequisites
You have the DBM operator authorization
ParamFull or AccessUtility.Syntax
db_adddevspace <mode> <master_name> <master_type> <size> [<mirror_name> <mirror_type>]

Type of devspace that is to be added. Possible values are: LOG (Log devspace) |

<master_name> |
Name of device/file |
|
<master_type> |
Type of devspace that is to be added. Possible values are: R (Raw device) L (Link) |
|
<size> |
Size of the devspace to be added in pages |
|
<mirror_name> |
Name of the mirror device (only relevant if parameter MIRRORED_DATA = YES and LOG_MODE = DUAL) |

<mirror_type> |
Type of the mirror device (only relevant if parameter MIRRORED_DATA = YES and LOG_MODE = DUAL) |
