Prerequisites

You have created an incident/accident log entry (see Structure link Creating Incident/Accident Log Entries).

Procedure

  1. From the Structure link Industrial Hygiene and Safety screen, choose Accidents ® Edit incident/accident log.
  2. This takes you to the Edit Incident/Accident Log: Initial Screen.

  3. Enter the required search parameters.
  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  5. A Structure link hit list of the incident/accident log entries that match the search criteria appears.

  6. Select the required incident/accident log entries and choose one of the following functions:

The Incident/Accident Log: Edit Entry screen appears.

Note

From the Involved tab page, you can navigate to editing detailed data about the person(s) affected. To do this, proceed as follows:

          1. Choose the Involved tab page.
          2. Select the person required by double-clicking the person in question in the list of persons involved. This can in some cases change the mode of the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Details pushbutton from inactive (button grayed out) to active.
          3. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Details.

The Incident/Accident Log: Edit Person-Specific Data screen appears. Enter the necessary data in each of the tab pages (about treatment and injuries, for example).

When you are editing person-specific data, you can also switch to the accident reports function and display the accident report for the Federal Republic of Germany that the system automatically generates from the data on the incident/accident log entry (see Opening Accident Reports).

  1. Save your entries.
