Product Cost Collectors: Collective Entry for Repetitive Manufacturing

Use

You use the function collective entry for repetitive manufacturing when you want to create product cost collectors for all production versions that are used in repetitive manufacturing and that match particular selection criteria.

Prerequisites

In the production version, the indicator Repetitive manufacturing allowed is selected.

Procedure

Choose Accounting ® Controlling ® Product Cost Controlling ® Cost Object Controlling ® Product Cost by Period ® Master Data ® Product Cost Collector ® Collective Entry for Repetitive Manufacturing.

The screen Create Multiple Product Cost Collectors for Production Versions appears.

Enter the following:

Plant
The desired range of materials
The order type under which you want to create the product cost collectors

Choose Execute.

The system selects the production versions that match the selection criteria and for which the indicator Repetitive manufacturing allowed is selected.

The dialog box Select production versions appears.

Select the production versions for which you want to create a product cost collector and choose Copy.

The message log for collective entry appears on the screen. The log contains an information message for each product cost collector that was created.

Choose Information messages.

You return to the screen Create Multiple Product Cost Collectors for Production Versions.

The list shows you the product cost collectors that were created.
