Use

The lender charges the borrower for the provision of a credit facility. You define this on the Charges tab page.

Prerequisites

Charges are calculated periodically for a facility once this facility has been settled and drawings have been made on it.

Note   You define the facility charges in Customizing as a condition type with the condition category Amounts equivalent to similar interest. For more information, see Define Condition Types.

Structure

The Charges: Overview area gives you an overview of all the charges created for the transaction.

You create the following information in the Charges: Details section:

Example A borrower has already drawn 1m euros (utilized) from the credit line with the total amount of 3m euros (credit line). There are 4 types of facilities charges, which can all be structured in a different way. The charges are independent of each other (and no interest is calculated on the charges).
