Procedure

To maintain a term, proceed as follows:

  1. Call the transaction STERM.
  2. Enter the term and choose Maintain.

The system checks whether the term to be maintained already exists in the terminology database.

  1. Enter the required data.

Note

If you want to edit the source term itself, choose Edit ® Change entry. This ensures that the field for the source term is ready for input.

  1. Save your entries.

Result

The system saves the changed term in the terminology database.

Note

Changes to existing term and glossary entries reset the status of the entry to indicate a possible translation-relevant change.

Changes or additions to additional information do not reset the status.
