By specifying an
identifier of the identification type WASTECOCAT (waste catalog), you assign the waste code to the corresponding waste catalog. The text (
EWC
, for example) that you enter for the waste catalog under
Identifier must correspond to a phrase code of a phrase belonging to the phrase set that you specified for the environment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG in the IMG activity Specify Environment Parameters in Customizing for Waste Management.Always enter the identifier of the identification type WASTECOCAT (waste catalog) first before you enter the identifier of the identification type WASTECODE (waste code). Only then can the system automatically check (check function C124_WASTECODE) whether the waste code for the waste catalog has already been created.
.The Edit Specification: Property Tree screen appears.

In the value assignment type Waste code properties that is delivered in the standard system, you can specify, among other things, the hazardousness that applies to wastes of the waste code. This is transferred automatically, for example, when you assign the waste code to a waste approval.
