Regulation Families
Use
For organizational reasons or to reduce the amount of time making changes to classifications, it may be necessary or desirable to deviate from the classic
dangerous goods classification process. For example, the business process of editing dangerous goods classifications and their assignment to real substances and materials may be organized decentrally so that different groups of persons are responsible for different jurisdictions. You can support this type of scenario by grouping regulations into families.Features
A list of all regulations can be found in the standard system under the Dangerous goods classification value assignment on the Transp. cl. tab page. The regulation families function allows you to use value assignments you create yourself, for example,
DangerousGoods_Europe or DangerousGoods_USA to subdivide the large number of regulations.
