Settings and Enhancements for Control Charts
This section describes the control chart settings that can be made in the Customizing application and how to replace standard functions with your own programs.
The following data is set in the Customizing application:
The SPC criterion defines whether individual or global control charts are to be managed for different orders, work centers, materials, manufacturers or customers.
The requirements regarding the control indicators of the inspection characteristic and the sampling procedure are specified for each control chart type.
The control chart tracks are defined at the next level. The control variable and the algorithms used to calculate the warning and action limits are determined for each track.
The available parameters can be used to match the statistical properties to the relevant company or national requirements.
The number ranges used in the control charts must be defined.
