Recalculating the Quality Score
Use
When you call up an inspection lot to make the usage decision, the system may display a message that the quality score must be recalculated. This can occur if the share of defects in the inspection lot differs from the share that had been previously recorded for the inspection lot.
If a procedure to calculate the quality score is assigned to the material and the procedure uses the share of defects as a basis for the calculation, you must make sure that the quality score is recalculated.
Procedure
In the transaction for recording the usage decision, choose Edit
® Calculate Q-score. The system automatically recalculates the quality score and displays the new value. Once the new score is available, you can change it manually.
