Definition

The transfer logs in Proposal Pool Administration display the status of all runs for importing, and exporting the proposal pool, along with detailed information on each run. You can also view this information while transfer runs are taking place.

Use

  1. You can view the transfer logs in Proposal Pool Administration under Transfer ® Logs.
  2. The system displays an overview of transfer logs for All source languages and All target languages.
  3. In the overview screen, the system displays the following information for each proposal pool transfer:
  1. To refresh the status of all transfer runs in this system, choose Refresh.
  2. To view the status of all background runs you have scheduled in this system, choose Run administration.
  3. To view the transfer log for a specific transfer run, select the run and double-click the icon in the Log column.
  4. The system displays the log for this transfer run in a dialog box. For more information on the functions available in this dialog box, see Structure link Display Log.

This log provides you with the following information:

Here table TRMTRA is of most interest as it contains the actual translation pairs. The log then divides the total number of lines in TRMTRA into the number of system standards, number of application standards and number of exceptions.

Export Information

Import Statistics

This section of the log breaks down the total number of lines in the various tables of the imported translation memory (TRM020, TRM040, TRM060, TRM080, TRM255, TRMABB, TRMTRA, and TRMCOM) for both source and target languages, along with the finish times of the import of each table. The total number of lines in TRMTRA is divided up into the number of system standards, number of application standards and number of exceptions.

Import Check

This checks that the number of lines imported is the same as the number of lines contained in the file.
