The database must normally run with
DATABASE LOG MODE set to archivelog and AUTOMATIC ARCHIVAL set to enabled. For more information, see Setting Up Archiving.For each database instance the following information is displayed:
If an error situation occurs in the database, making a recovery necessary, be sure to view this information before starting the recovery.
If the local and selected instance do not match, the following appears:
