Logging a Resource off from the System

Use

You can use your presentation device to log your resource off from the system.

Note

Resources can also be logged off from the Monitor. For more information, see Monitor Methods.

Prerequisites

You must be an element of an active or inactive resource

You must not be processing a task. You are considered to be processing a task after you have saved at the Source screen but before you have saved at the Destination screen.

Procedure

Choose Brk. The Logoff screen appears.

Choose List to view a list of reasons for logging off. You can scroll the list to view all reasons.

Choose a reason.

Choose Ent. The reason code and description appear in the Reason field.

Choose LOff.

Result

The resource is logged off from the system. All tasks assigned to the resource but not yet started are released and are available for processing by other resources.
