You want to perform a reorganizational change within your area of responsibility, that is, you want to move an organizational object to a new superior object. This process will directly or indirectly affect one or more employees (persons).

For this reason, you are required to enter a personnel action. When you enter a personnel action, the following workflow is started:

The following prerequisites must be fulfilled before you can trigger the transfer workflow:

• You have set up an appropriate workflow. For more detailed information, particularly about how to customize this workflow, see the SAP Easy Access Menu ® Tools ® ABAP Workbench ® Development ® Workflow ® Definition Tools ® Tasks/Task Groups ® Display. Under Task Type, choose Workflow Template, and under Task, enter 01000014 (workflow template codes: transaction PFWS). Note that the standard workflow template does not necessarily match your enterprise-specific requirements.

• The PLOGI EVENB (Enhanced Integration) and PLOGI EVCRE (Generate Event for Entry T77INT) switches in table T77S0 are set to ‘X’. See also Organizational Management in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Set Up Integration with Personnel Administration.

• During the transfer of the person, you select a personnel action type in the Move to dialog box. The system, however, only offers a choice of those personnel action types that have been specified in the view V530_all as relevant for Organizational Management.

• Once the personnel action has been executed, the administrator, as well as the employee (person) concerned, is informed by mail.
• If the action is withdrawn, the manager sees the original arrangement of the objects in the organizational structure (prior to the move). The personnel department employee receives confirmation of the withdrawal of the action in his or her inbox.
• If you withdraw the reorganizational action, that is, reverse the transfer, the workflow is automatically canceled.
