Designating CATS notebook for Installation 

You must perform the following steps in SAP R/3:

...

       1.      Start the Mobile Engine: Check Installation Status (transaction SMOMO).

       2.      Enter the user name for which you want CATS notebook to be installed.

       3.      Choose Installation Status.

       4.      Choose  to add a new application. Insert the following applications:

-         CATS_notebook (the CATS notebook application)

-         CATS_REPORT_01 (a sample report for CATS notebook) (optional)

-         CATS_SETUP(installation of employee-related data in CATS notebook)

-         TE_BASICS (joint basis functions for time recording and travel expenses)

       5.      Save your entries.

This procedure enables you to designate CATS notebook for installation for individual users. However, if you want to do this for a large number of users, you should automate installation using role maintenance. For more information, see Deployment Console.
