Use

The zero stock check mechanism that is available in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is also available in TRM.

In a zero stock check, storage bin data in the WMS indicates that a storage bin should be empty after a stock removal. During the physical removal of stock from storage, you check whether the storage bin data matches the actual stock situation.

You can implement the zero stock check in different ways.

Note

For more information on the zero stock check mechanism, see Structure linkZero Stock Check in the SAP Library for Warehouse Management System.

Procedure

Performing an Automatic Zero Stock Check

  1. After confirming a pick on the Source screen involving a bin that the system recognizes as being empty, the Zero Stock Check screen appears.
  2. If the bin is empty, choose Cnfr.
  3. If the bin is not empty:
    1. Enter the quantity remaining in the bin.
    2. Choose List.
    3. Choose a reason for the remaining quantity.
    4. Choose Cnfr. The Destination screen appears.
  4. Save to confirm the task.

Performing a Manual Zero Stock Check

  1. During a picking task where you notice that the bin is empty, choose More.
  2. Choose ZrCh.
  3. Choose Cnfr to confirm that the bin is empty.

Result

The information is passed to the WMS and the originating transfer order is confirmed accordingly. Where you reported a difference, the WMS automatically calculates the difference and corrects the book amount for the storage bin. The system also posts the difference to the interim storage area for differences.
