Marking Prices for Future Valuation

Prerequisites

You have performed single-level or multilevel price determination.

You have checked the new prices from material price determination. The prices with price control indicator V come from the current period's price determination. You want to use these prices as valuation prices in the following period (price control indicator S).

Closing entries were performed

Procedure

Under Process and Mark Material Prices choose Parameters.

Determine when the system should mark the prices. Enter data as required.

Choose the method of processing. You can perform the function in the background.

Choose Execute.

Result

The prices are marked as future valuation prices for the materials in the costing run.
