Due to the flexibility of the leave entitlement year the usual cumulation tables are not used to retrieve cumulated values. Instead, the system stores all relevant cumulated values in the Result Table (RT) at the end of each payroll period and before the vacation allowance is processed, the it retrieves these values from the LRT.

Under certain circumstances, the cumulated values must be reset (for example, at the end of the entitlement year). That means the system does not read the wage types from the LRT.

The payroll function PVACO identifies these situations and retrieves the wage types from table T5PVA to either be evaluated or reset.
