Vorgehensweisen  Creating Employee Records in Main Pers. Assignment Infotype 0712 Dokument im Navigationsbaum lokalisieren

Use

Before you run payroll for Canadian employees in conjunction with Concurrent Employment, you must ensure that a record exists in subtype CARN (Canada Employer - Registration Number) of the Main Personnel Assignment infotype (0712) for each employee with multiple personnel assignments that is to be processed.

It is imperative that you perform this activity before you first run payroll with Concurrent Employment activated in your system. You cannot process payroll for any employee with multiple personnel assignments if that employee lacks a record in subtype CARN of the Main Personnel Assignment infotype (0712).

Prerequisites

You have activated Concurrent Employment in your system and intend to run payroll for concurrently employed persons in your enterprise.

Moreover, you have assigned Concurrent Employment grouping values to your Registration Numbers via the following step of the Payroll Canada Implementation Guide (IMG):

·         Concurrent Employment  ®  Tax ®Assign Concurrent Employment Grouping Values to Registration Numbers

Procedure

As you create master data for employees with Concurrent Employment activated in your system, the system automatically proposes, during the hire event, that records be created in subtype CARN (Canada Employer - Registration Number) of the Main Personnel Assignment infotype (0712) for employees with multiple personnel assignments.

Nonetheless, if you have imported employee records from prior releases or legacy data from other payroll systems for use in conjunction with Concurrent Employment, we recommend as a precaution that you review employee master data to ensure that corresponding records in subtype CARN of the Main Personnel Assignment infotype (0712) are present for each prior or legacy employee record for whom payroll is to be run in a Concurrent Employment environment.

Result

Once you have taken precautions to ensure that each employee with multiple personnel assignments for whom payroll is to be run in a Concurrent Employment environment has a corresponding record in subtype CARN of Infotype 0712, you have performed the most important step in preparing employee master data for use in Payroll Canada in conjunction with Concurrent Employment.
