Creating an Article Hierarchy
Procedure
The language-dependent description specifies the use of the article hierarchy.
You have the option of assigning a sales organization and a distribution channel to an article hierarchy.
An article hierarchy can have the status planned, active or disabled. When you create an article hierarchy the status is always ‘planned’. The status applies to all nodes in a hierarchy.
Determine here in which active article hierarchy changes to the planned article hierarchy are to be transferred. If a planned hierarchy is created for an existing active article hierarchy the hierarchy ID of the active article hierarchy will be proposed.
This indicator specifies whether an article hierarchy should be transferred to the product hierarchy.
This indicator specifies whether the article hierarchy should be transferred to the planning hierarchy of
Merchandise and Assortment Planning . This specification is optional.
This indicator specifies whether the article hierarchy should be transferred to the hierarchy of SAP BW. This specification is also optional.
If you want to display, change or delete an existing article hierarchy you have the option to specify a hierarchy node beside the hierarchy ID. The result of this is that you can then enter the article hierarchy at every user-defined hierarchy level.
