The POS interface monitor provides functions for monitoring POS interface - outbound and POS interface - inbound. The system classifies every outbound and inbound message (IDoc) and records it in a log.

This component is mandatory for SAP Retail.

To be able to use the POS interface monitor, you must also have the POS interface - outbound and POS interface - inbound components.

The POS interface monitor is divided into the following areas:

• Error overview

• Data is listed according to site, message and date.
• Faulty IDocs are processed.
• These IDocs and messages are repeated.

• Display of messages processed

• Data is listed according to site, message and date.
• In inbound processing, R/3 follow-on documents created are displayed.
• Postings can be reversed.
• IDocs are edited and processing is repeated.

• Display of messages from external systems
