The system creates a new performance data file for each runtime analysis. Existing files are retained for eight days, before being deleted automatically. If the system runs out of space for new files, it deletes the oldest files even if they are not yet eight days old.

If you want to keep a performance data file for longer than eight days, you can save it as a local file on the frontend. You can then reload it later.

Procedure

  1. From the Performance data file group box, choose Other file…
  2. On the next screen, enter your selection (for example, All).
  3. Under File user, select the required file.
  4. Choose Copy to local file…
  5. Enter the local path name and choose Copy.

Result

The system saves the performance data file locally on your hard drive. You can reload it at a later date.

Note

The procedure for loading a local file into the runtime analysis is similar. At step 4 in the above procedure, choose Import from local file. Once it has loaded the file, the system adds it to the list of performance data files.
