To delete a generated maintenance dialog from the system, delete the generated elements using the maintenance transaction.

Enter the table or view name and select Generated objects on the maintenance transaction initial screen. Choose Delete. A dialog box, in which you can mark the elements you want to delete, appears:

You can delete function modules independently of the control entry and the maintenance screens.

You can delete the control entry only if you also delete the function modules and maintenance screens.

You can delete maintenance screens independently of the control entry and function modules.

The system deletes all information (header, object list, subobjects, and so on).

Events table entries are deleted. The event program code is retained.

Any existing variants are deleted.

The system offers this option only if the function group contains only the function modules of the maintenance dialogs you want to delete, that is, if it would be empty after deleting the function modules.

You have to delete the following elements separately:

(see Maintain authorization group assignments)

To delete, proceed as follows:

    1. Enter the table or view name in the generation environment and choose Environment ® Change ® Interface. The Maintain user interface assignment dialog box appears.
    2. Choose Delete. The system deletes the user interface if the User interface flag is not set.

If User interface flag is set, another dialog lists the tables or views that use the interface. Choose Delete again to delete the user interface and control information.
