Use

You use this function to assign rental objects to a participation group with time-dependence.

To process a participation group, choose:

Flexible Real Estate Management ® Service Charge Settlement ® Master Data ® Create/Change Participation Group

Prerequisites

You can only change assignments for time periods where there have been no settlements on settlement units using the participation group.

Procedure

Create participation group

Prior to assigning a unique name to the participation group, note the following:

  1. If the participation group is valid for a limited period, enter the period in the Valid fields.
  2. If the participation group is valid for an unlimited period, leave the Valid fields blank.

Note The Valid fields refer to the validity period of the participation group, regardless of the assignment of the settlement unit.

When you create a new participation group, the system issues a message telling you that the group does not exist. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Enter to assign rental objects to the new participation group.

In the Rental unit/participation ID assignment table, assign the rental objects.

Assign several rental objects to the participation group in parallel

Enter you selection criteria for the rental objects and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Execute (F8).
Select the rental objects in the list choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Back.

Copy the assigned rental objects from existing participation groups

Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Copy from (F5) and enter the participation group.

Assign rental objects to the participation group for a limited period

Enter the period in the Valid from/Valid to fields.

Assign rental objects for an unlimited period (for the validity period of the participation group)

Leave the Valid from / Valid to fields empty.

Cancel the assignment of a rental object

Place your cursor on the rental object and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Delete Row.

Processing Participation Groups

Caution You can use a participation group in as many settlement units of the same business entity as required. Consequently, a change to the assignment of the rental objects in one participation group then applies to all settlement units.

Edit an existing participation group of a SU

Place your cursor on the participation group and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Choose (F2).

Cancel the assignment to a participation group

Place your cursor on the participation group and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Delete Row.
