Error List

Use

In each master data transaction, you can display a list of all error messages on each tab page.

To access error list, choose

with quick info Check (Str+F2)	The error list is generated and appears in a modal dialog box.
with quick info Display Amodal Error List	The error list appears in a modeless dialog box.
with quick info Fix Error List	The error list appears in a modal dialog box.

When processing the error list, choose

with quick info Information – Hide	Information (for example, messages that exist) The number indicates the number of messages. You can remove this message type from the list by choosing this icon.
with quick info Warnings – Hide	Warning. Similar to with quick info Information – Hide.
with quick info Errors – Hide	Error message. Similar to with quick info Information – Hide.
with quick info Terminations – Hide	Termination. Similar to with quick info Information – Hide.
with quick info Level Display in Tree On/Off	Using this icon, you can display the message hierarchy in a modeless dialog box, for example: There is a message for measurements Measurement type 0001 not allowed for rental object
with quick info Filter	Using the filter icon, you can define the display criteria for the table.
with quick info Detail exists	By choosing this icon, you can go directly to the field that has the error, and make the correction.
with quick info Long text exists	By choosing this icon, you can display the long text of the message.
with quick info Close Messages	You can close the error list by choosing this icon.

Note You cannot save if there are processing errors. In this case, the system automatically calls the error list, and you need to process it first. As long as the error list dialog box is open, the system checks the entire object (including all fields and assignments) each time you choose Enter. This increases runtime. You should therefore close the dialog box if response time is too slow.
