Use

To create a view cluster maintenance variant.

Prerequisites

The view cluster already exists. As the view variants can be put in the dialogs when a maintenance variant is created, you should have already created them.

Procedure

  1. Call view cluster maintenance.
  2. Enter the name of the source view cluster and choose Copy view cluster.

    3. The Copy view cluster dialog appears.

  3. Choose Variant.
  4. Enter the maintenance variant name.

    5. The Assign view variants dialog appears.

  5. Specify for each individual dialog whether you want the original dialog or a maintenance view variant in the view cluster variant.
  6. Save your entries.

Result

The view cluster maintenance variant can now be tested and used.
