Choose Administration à ICM to soft-terminate (signal 2) or hard-terminate (signal 9) the ICM. With a soft termination, the ICM tries to send responses to its existing clients and then to close the connection. With a hard termination, the process is simply terminated. All existing connections and, of course, all requests are lost.

Choose Administration à Dispatcher à Force restart to force the dispatcher to restart the ICM if the ICM terminated due to an error.

Choose Administration ® J2EE Server to use the functions for managing the SAP J2EE application servers. The functions are described in SAP J2EE Application Server Administration.
