To create a MiniApp object:

1. Choose a package in the Object Navigator (transaction SE80).
2. Choose Create ® Web object ® Internet Service from the context menu (the right mouse menu).

The system displays the Create Internet Service dialog box.

3. Enter a short description and choose between a normal and a personalization MiniApp.

Enter a name and meaningful short description for your MiniApp.



The short description is used by the system as the long text title (or tray header) for the MiniApp. In the Workplace, this long text is used as the MiniApp frame title.

Choose Personalization MiniApp if appropriate. This type of MiniApp allows users to customize data used by the MiniApp and to change their personal settings. You can call these MiniApps using the Edit personalization button from the MiniApp.

4. Choose Save.

The Web Application Builder displays the Attributes of the MiniApp. This new MiniApp type development object is stored in the R/3 Repository and added to the object list of the package.
After creating the MiniApp object, you can enter data for integrating the MiniApp in the Workplace and for using the generic functions of the MiniApp framework.
