Uploading External-Tool Scripts to eCATT

Use

You can save complete projects, with all their assets, to eCATT.

Procedure

Choose Tools ® SAP eCATT ® Save BLOB ® Save and Continue.

In the BLOB ID field, enter a name for the eCATT test script.

In the Version field, enter a number for the test script version.

Select the projects of the external tool that you want to save to the eCATT test script.

Select the record and replay settings.

Select the starting script from the Primary Project and Primary Script fields.

Choose Change Login Parameters.

Enter your user and password for logging on to the system in which eCATT runs, then choose OK.

Choose Change RFC Parameters.

Enter the RFC parameters and choose OK. You can find the host and system number from the SAPLogon window. For an R/3 System, the RFC type is 3.

Choose Save.

Result

An eCATT test script is created and saved as a local object. If you want to assign the test script to a package, you can do this later in eCATT.
