Entering content frameProcedure documentation Entering Formulas in a Set Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

  1. On the Create Set: Basic Entries screen, move the cursor to the line above which you want to insert the formula.
  2. Choose Edit ® Insert formula.
  3. A dialog box appears in which you enter the formula.

  4. Enter the formula.
  5. For more information about the rules for creating formulas, see Formulas .

    The following table contains example formulas that can be used in sets.

    Example formulas

    Definition

    ‘001’+10

    Line 001 plus 10

    ‘002’-‘001’

    Line 002 minus line 001

    (‘002’-‘001’) *0.15

    Line 002 minus line 001; multiply the result by 0.15

     

    Note

    You can also enter cells in your formula. (Cells are used by the Report Writer.) For more information about cells, see Structure link Defining Cells .

  6. Check that formula syntax is correct by choosing Check formula.
  7. Choose Continue.
  8. The Create Set: Basic Entries screen appears, displaying the formula you entered.

  9. To save the set, choose Set ® Save.
