Procedure

To go from Planning for a selected article directly to master data maintenance for the article, proceed as follows:

  1. On the overview screen of manual planning, select the article for which you wish to maintain master data.
  2. Choose Extras ® Article Planning ® Master Data Maintenance, to go to Structure linkMaster Data Maintenance for the article.
  3. Enter the master data for the article and save your entries.
  4. Return to article planning.

Result

The master data for the article has changed to reflect your entries.

In planning, existing master data attributes are updated if necessary.

Note

Additional key figures relating to the article master data, which may be in planning, are not updated.
