Use

You can specify that the documents you create are archived using the Structure linkSAP ArchiveLink.

Prerequisites

To use this function, you have to install the archive system and configure the ArchiveLink interface. You make the necessary settings in Customizing under:

The system assigns document types to archive documents. There is a single document type for each correspondence application. The name of the document type is derived from RECP + key of correspondence application, such as RECPA400 for a General letter. The document types used are likewise assigned to the corresponding BOR (Business Object Repository) object categories, for instance RECPA400 is assigned to object category BUS1134 (contract).

Caution Do not change the standard settings! Check that the settings exist in the current client.

Features

The system always archives the documents to be archived with a reference to the corresponding master data object or contract. The standard archiving format is PDF. There are two ways of displaying archived documents in the application dialog of the respective object:

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Services for Object ® Attachment list
  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Document Management (Business Document Navigator)

Activities

Make the necessary settings in Customizing for Flexible Real Estate Management. Choose the following path in the application menu:
