Use

For a planning layout with several simple key columns, you can show or hide subtotals. The first time you enter manual planning, only the final totals are displayed.

You can save the settings for the key columns for each user so that subtotals can be displayed as soon as you enter the overview screen.

Prerequisites

This function can only be used for layouts with several simple key columns and can only be run in the overview screen.

The function is only available if the "Locked Totals" indicator is not set for the planning layout (see Locking Total Cells).

If you have the authorization to change the planning layout for this planning step (authorization object W_WXP_LAY), you can also determine the key column settings for another user.

This is important if you administer and predefine settings for certain layouts and users of manual planning. Layouts with the "Locked Totals" indicator cannot not be changed in the settings with regard to key columns. The values of the totals and subtotals and whether they are shown or hidden are locked in this case.

Activities

Navigate to the overview screen and choose the display you require for subtotals via Settings ® Key Columns® Totaling.

Save the display by choosing Settings ® Key Columns ® Save Settings. You can change these settings at any time.

The settings for the key columns are user-dependent so that individual displays can be chosen straight away.

Note

Note that the settings for the key columns will not take effect until you restart manual planning completely. It is not sufficient to navigate back to the entry screen from the overview screen and then call up the overview screen again.
