Use
You can determine the following terms for giving notice on Real Estate contracts:
Notice procedures can contain multiple notice rules, as in the case of contract terms in which different periods of notice apply for contractee (tenant) and contractor (landlord) (see
Example).You create notice rules in Customizing. Choose the following task level menu:
Customizing ® Flexible Real Estate Management ® Contract ® Notice
However, you can also create notice rules and procedures in contract processing under the Term tab.
Prerequisites
The contract must have the "active" status.

Determine notice terms
Standard notice procedures are set in Customizing (see
In the detail area, a table appears where you can create new period and deadline regulations by choosing
Create Notice Rule. In the next screen, choose
Append Row and enter your data. Choose
Continue (Enter). If you choose
Create with Template, you can import rules already defined in Customizing and change these, if required, in the detail view of the contract using
Detail View of Notice Rule.

This rule applies retrospectively for contracts that were signed before 09/01/2001.

To give notice on one object in a contract, you must create a Give notice on objects term and assign this to the objects in question.
You can define further notice data in the detail screen. Activate the notice.
