Use

In article planning you can automatically generate article variants for a specified generic article.

For determining the relevant characteristic values, in the case of the classification system characteristic assigned to the layout, the planned characteristic value assignment that already exists in the classification system and the one in the planning hierarchy are both consulted and, if necessary, included in the classification.

Procedure

  1. On the manual planning overview screen, select the generic article for which you want to create article variants.
  2. Choose Extras ® Article Planning ® Create variants. A dialog box appears. The number of variants still to be generated is displayed in this dialog box. It is possible that variants may already exist in some circumstances.
  3. Confirm your entry. The variants are created.

Result

The variant article is created for all combinations of the values of the variant-creating characteristics.
