A purchasing organization can purchase for several plants, or several purchasing organizations can be responsible for purchasing in one plant. In the graphic portrayal, purchasing organizations and plants are placed next to each other.

Purchasing organizations that procure for several company codes (contract management) are not assigned to one company code. In the graphic portrayal, they are therefore placed to the side of the company codes.
