Definition

In the tile portrayal, the arrangement instances of the R/3 System organizational units reflect the relationships between the organizational units in the R/3 System.

Use

Relationships cover not just Customizing relationships where there is a hierarchical assignment of organizational units. Some relationships have a business basis and others originate in the R/3 System.

Structure

Types of relationship:

· An interaction of some form exists between instances:

- Relationships with a defined direction

- Relationships with no defined direction

- ALE connection

· There is no interaction between instances:
If there are no direct relationships between two instances of one or different R/3 organizational units, these instances are portrayed in the tile portrayal without direct contact points.
