Finding an Inspection Lot

Use

This process shows you how to find the number of an inspection lot.

The search begins on the current screen. However, you can generally use the possible entries help in the relevant field to find a physical sample, irrespective of the R/3 screen you are using.

Procedure

  1. On the current screen, position your cursor in the Inspection lot field and choose the possible entries help.
  2. Choose the tab page for the search help type you require. If necessary, use the scroll arrows to find the tab page.

    3. Alternatively, you could click on the icon to the right of the scroll arrows. This calls up a dialog box, which lists all existing tab pages. Choose the name of the tab page you require. This tab page then appears in the dialog box.

  3. Specify as many search criteria as possible. Refer to the Data for this Example.

    4. You can also use the possible entries help in several of the fields in the tab pages. You can also perform a detailed search.

  4. Choose .

    5. The system displays a list of the results for the search.

  5. Select the desired physical-sample number and then choose .

The system automatically inserts this number in the relevant item of the initial screen.
