Search Help: Finding a Physical-Sample Drawing

Use

This process shows you how to find the number of a physical-sample drawing.

The search begins on the current screen. However, you can generally use the possible entries help in the relevant field to find a physical sample, irrespective of the R/3 screen you are using.

Procedure

  1. Place your cursor in the Physical sample field on the current screen and then choose the possible entries help.
  2. You can select the search help type in the Number of the physical sample (x) dialog box.

  3. Choose the Physical samples for material tab page. If required, use the scroll arrow to find the tab page.
  4. Alternatively, you could click on the icon to the right of the scroll arrows. This calls up a dialog box, which lists the existing tab pages. Choose the desired tab page. It will then appear in the dialog box.

  5. Specify as many search criteria as possible. You use the data for this process.
  6. You can also use the possible entries help in several of the fields in the tab pages. You can perform a detailed search using this function.

  7. Choose .
  8. The dialog box lists the results of your search.

  9. Select the desired physical-sample number and then choose .

The physical-sample number is then automatically entered in the relevant item on the initial screen.
