Structure of the Enterprise Model 

Purpose

Before you map models of enterprise structures, you must identify and assign the components of an enterprise. You must also be familiar with the organizational structures in the R/3 System, the way they interact technically and the possibilities for displaying structures in order to portray enterprise-specific structures in organizational structures in the R/3 System.

In this context, the R/3 System organizational units described in the following sections are particularly important.
