Defining a Background 

Use

This section describes how to define a drawing page background to suit an enterprise’s needs, by inserting a company logo or a project code, for example.

Procedure

  1. Choose Structure ModeleràOptions àBackground.

    If you want to change the layout on all drawing pages, you must enter the changes on the "logo" page. A field on the top right of the screen displays whether you are on a background ("logo") or a foreground page.
    You can choose the following backgrounds for your drawing page:

    2. Default: Lets you use a standard background.

    Enterprise: Lets you define your own background.

    None: Lets you use a blank drawing page.

  2. Choose Enterprise and Edit.
  3. You may now enter graphics or text in your drawing page, using Insert in the Visio menu, for example.
  4. Save your entries.
  5. Return to a foreground page by selecting a specific Page in the field on the top right of the screen. The changes you have made in the background page now appear in the foreground page.
