Releasing the Maintenance Order 

Use

You release the order for further processing.

This process step describes only the basic steps that are required for further processing of the maintenance order. The scenario provided gives you a more detailed description of maintenance order processing.

Procedure

  1. Use the following procedure to call the transaction:

    From the Plant Maintenance node, choose Maintenance Processing ® Order ® Change

    Transaction

    IW32

    T he system defaults the last order you processed.

  2. Choose .
  3. Choose the Planning tab page.

You now see the relationship between the order and the maintenance plan/task list.
  1. Choose to release the order.
  2. Choose .
  3. Choose to return to the overview tree.

Result

A service entry sheet for the purchase order assigned to the maintenance order is only possible when you release the order. The purchase requisition can be converted to a purchase order independent of the order release process.
