Scheduling the Maintenance Plan 

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

    From the Maintenance Planning node, choose Scheduling for Maintenance Plans ® Schedule

    The system defaults the number of the last maintenance plan you processed.

  2. Choose .

    3. The Schedule Maintenance Plan: Strategy Plan #### screen appears.

  3. Choose Start.
  4. In the Start Date dialog box, enter the following data:

    Five weeks ago from today's date

    Starting at the start date, the R/3 System determines the next maintenance appointments according to the scheduling parameters that you entered. Because you entered the start date, the first maintenance appointment is already due and you can call it up directly.

    7. The Schedule Maintenance Plan: Strategy Plan #### screen appears.

    On the Scheduled Calls tab page, you see the planned dates.

  7. Select the first call, then choose .
  8. Check the entries, then choose to check the other calls.

  11. To return to the overview tree, choose .

Result

When you save the scheduling, the system automatically generates a PM order for the first due planning date.
